Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been appointed as an official ambassador for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, set to be hosted in Pakistan. The ICC has named several ambassadors for the tournament, including 2017 Champions Trophy-winning captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Key Tournament Details & India-Pakistan Clashes
The Champions Trophy 2025 will officially begin on February 19 in Karachi, with Pakistan facing New Zealand in the opening match.
Due to India’s refusal to play in Pakistan, all of India’s matches—including the highly anticipated Pakistan vs India showdown on February 23—will be played in Dubai.
The final is scheduled for March 9. However, if India qualifies, the final will not be held in Pakistan.
