Johannesburg: Former South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs has said that Babar Azam’s English is weak, which made communication difficult.
While sharing memories of his time with the PSL franchise Karachi Kings, Gibbs mentioned that Babar Azam’s English isn’t very good, which made it challenging for him to convey certain points.
Responding to a fan’s question on social media, Gibbs said, “There was a language barrier with Babar. You know, his English isn’t very strong, so it was sometimes difficult to explain things to him.”
He further stated that he closely observed Babar Azam’s batting and noticed that he hadn’t changed his mindset. “He continues to play with the same style and tempo,” Gibbs added.
