Dubai (Web Desk) – Cricket fans in Dubai have once again won the ticket-buying race, as the additional tickets for the Pakistan-India clash in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 were sold out in no time. The Indian team has also kicked off their preparations for the tournament.
The ICC, considering the immense interest of cricket fans, announced the sale of additional online tickets for India’s matches in Dubai, spreading excitement among fans.
The highest demand was seen for tickets to the Pakistan-India showdown, which is regarded as the biggest cricket rivalry. These additional tickets were snapped up within minutes by fans who had missed out earlier.
It is reported that between 20,000 and 30,000 people were competing to purchase the tickets online. This high-voltage match is scheduled to be held in Dubai on February 23.
It’s worth mentioning that India, part of Group A, will play its first match against Bangladesh on February 20, followed by the much-anticipated clash against Pakistan on February 23. India’s final group-stage match will be against New Zealand on March 2.
Champions Trophy: Additional Tickets for Pakistan-India Clash Sold Out in 90 Minutes
The excitement surrounding the Pakistan-India clash in the ICC Champions Trophy has reached fever pitch, as additional tickets for the Dubai showdown were sold out within just 90 minutes.
Cricket fans are eagerly anticipating the traditional rivalry between Pakistan and India, scheduled for February 23 in Dubai. The initial tickets for the match had already been sold out within an hour.
In response to the overwhelming demand, the ICC announced the release of additional tickets. As soon as the announcement was made, fans rushed to the website, causing a massive surge in traffic, and these additional tickets were also snapped up within an hour and a half.
It is noteworthy that the minimum ticket price for the Champions Trophy was set at 500 AED (approximately 38,000 PKR), which fans quickly purchased.
The most expensive ticket for the Pakistan-India match, priced at 12,500 AED, was also sold out. Additionally, tickets priced at 1,000, 1,200, 2,500, and 5,000 AED were made available, all of which were swiftly bought by eager fans.
The first semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played in Dubai on March 4.
