New Zealand won the toss at Pindi Cricket Stadium and opted to bowl first. Their disciplined bowling performance restricted Bangladesh from setting a big total.
The Kiwi bowling attack once again showcased its dominance, delivering 178 dot balls (equivalent to nearly 30 overs), which completely restricted Bangladesh’s batting lineup. As a result, no Bangladeshi batter was able to play freely or accelerate the scoring.
Earlier in the tournament, New Zealand’s bowlers also bowled 162 dot balls against Pakistan, significantly affecting Pakistan’s strike rate and ultimately securing a 60-run victory.
