6 March, 2025 – ICC Safety and Security Manager, Dr. Domoscar, has declared the Champions Trophy event in Pakistan a great success. While commenting on the arrangements of the tournament, he expressed gratitude to Pakistan’s police, rangers, and army.
He acknowledged the full cooperation of security agencies throughout the tournament, noting that teams initially had reservations about coming to Pakistan.
Dr. Domoscar stated that, personally, he had no doubts about the professionalism displayed, which was remarkable. He further emphasized that this tournament would project a positive image of Pakistan, its people, and its security institutions worldwide.
He also described the tournament as a fantastic event.
It is noteworthy that, due to India’s qualification for the Champions Trophy final, the decisive match will be played at Dubai Cricket Stadium. With this, all Champions Trophy matches in Pakistan have concluded.
Pakistan hosted an ICC mega event after nearly 29 years. However, due to poor performance, the Pakistani team was eliminated in the first round without winning a single match.
