Karachi (Web Desk): The Pakistan cricket team’s practice session for the ICC Champions Trophy has begun, with fast bowler Haris Rauf making his return to the nets. Haris Rauf had been injured during the first match against New Zealand, but after a week of complete rest, he resumed light training in the nets today. At the start of the session, Haris bowled a few deliveries on his own.
The Pakistani team practiced at the Oval Ground of the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Center, participating in an optional training session. Captain Mohammad Rizwan and spinner Abrar Ahmed did not attend today’s training.
The players engaged in intensive practice for three hours under the supervision of the coaching staff, focusing on both batting and bowling. The session began with warm-up exercises and drills.
The first Champions Trophy match between Pakistan and New Zealand is scheduled for February 19.
