Following this, he will be asked to resign as an MNA. Several PTI leaders had also complained about his conduct at the Swabi event.

The notice states that despite clear instructions from PTI founder Imran Khan, Marwat made statements opposing the party’s Secretary General, Salman Akram Raja, and the ongoing negotiations with the government. Marwat Had Already Decided to Avoid PTI Rallies
Prior to his expulsion, Marwat had announced that he would no longer attend PTI rallies without a formal invitation. Speaking to journalists, he stated that he had always stood by PTI and did not want to cause discomfort to the leadership. He also suggested that some individuals within the party did not want him speaking on stage.
Swabi Rally Snub: Marwat Expresses Discontent
At a recent PTI rally in Swabi, Marwat was not given a seat on stage nor allowed to speak. Expressing his disappointment, he remarked that if the leadership was unhappy with his presence, they should have informed him beforehand. He clarified that he attended the event solely for Imran Khan and urged the leadership to let him know if his participation was an issue.
What Does Sher Afzal Marwat Say About His Expulsion from PTI?
Sher Afzal Marwat has stated that he is currently in his hometown of Lakki Marwat and has not received any official communication regarding his expulsion from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He added that no party leader has contacted him, although media reports suggest that he has been removed from PTI.
Marwat mentioned that he will request the PTI leadership, including those who recently met Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, to clarify whether Imran Khan actually issued such an order.
PTI leader and Senator Ali Zafar, who recently met Imran Khan in Adiala Jail along with Barrister Gohar, stated that while various political matters were discussed during their meeting, he did not hear any directive from Imran Khan regarding Marwat’s expulsion.
Ali Zafar further mentioned that although Imran Khan did discuss Sher Afzal Marwat with Barrister Gohar, no explicit instructions about his removal were given in his presence.
What Does Barrister Gohar Say?
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, while speaking to the media in Parliament, stated that he is unaware of any decision to expel Sher Afzal Marwat from the party. He emphasized that he has not received any such instructions from Imran Khan and assured that any directive from the PTI founder is always implemented immediately.
Junaid Akbar: “I Want Sher Afzal Marwat to Stay in PTI”
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar Khan has expressed his desire for Sher Afzal Marwat to remain part of the party. Speaking to the media, he stated that he would discuss this matter with PTI founder Imran Khan.
Junaid Akbar clarified that he is unaware of any official directives regarding Marwat’s status in the party and that this issue is unrelated to the Swabi rally. However, he emphasized that when he meets Imran Khan, he will present his stance on the matter.
Expressing his gratitude to Sher Afzal Marwat, Junaid Akbar remarked, “He stood by me during difficult times, and I will always appreciate that. He was the strongest voice in my support when I needed it the most.”
