Previously, it was reported that the Indian team would travel to the Champions Trophy without family members. However, under BCCI’s updated family policy, players are now allowed to have their families with them for up to two weeks on tours exceeding 45 days. This policy was introduced after the Test series against Australia.

Indian media reports that the BCCI has permitted players to bring their wives and family members to Dubai during the Champions Trophy but with one significant condition: family members can only stay for one match. Players must coordinate among themselves and inform the board in advance about which match they would like their families to attend.

While each player can have their family present for one game, it remains unclear which matches the players will choose for this privilege. The Indian cricket team has already arrived in Dubai for the upcoming tournament.
