Dubai: The excitement for the ICC Champions Trophy is at its peak in Dubai, and new rules and regulations have been issued for spectators at the Dubai Cricket Stadium.
Cricket fans have been advised to enjoy the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai with enthusiasm but to refrain from chanting political slogans, waving political banners and posters, or bringing them into the stadium.
These rules have been displayed on large posters near ticket counters and public parking areas around the Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Large banners outside the Dubai Stadium clearly warn spectators not to turn the cricket ground into a political rally. Fans have been given a clear message to leave their political views, slogans, posters, and banners at home.
Authorities, possibly considering the creativity of cricket fans, have included some unusual items in their prohibited list—items that are nearly impossible to find in Dubai. Spectators have been instructed not to bring weapons, knives, bombs, or pistols into the stadium. Upon seeing pictorial representations of bombs and pistols on the banners, some fans jokingly remarked, “Forget bombs—are we even allowed to bring a water bottle like our champion Sarfaraz?”
Food and Beverage Restrictions, but Relaxation for Kids
Water bottles have also been included in the list of prohibited items. Fans are instructed to purchase food and drinks from the stadium’s food stalls rather than bringing anything from home, as the venue offers high-quality food. However, an exception has been made for small children, allowing parents to bring milk and other essential items.
No Pets Allowed in the Stadium
Pet owners have been explicitly told not to attempt to turn their dogs, cats, or rabbits into cricket fans. After reading these guidelines, one fan jokingly asked, “My parrot is a cricket fan—can I not bring it along?”
Skateboards and Bicycles Prohibited!
To avoid traffic congestion, some fans use skateboards or bicycles to reach the stadium. However, Dubai Stadium authorities have announced that these items will not be allowed inside.
Flash Photography and Recording Banned
Officials have warned spectators against using flash photography or recording matches, as it may not only distract players but also violate copyright laws.
Fans have also been advised not to bring glassware, alcohol, or any toxic substances into the stadium.
To maintain the integrity of the game, radio communication devices have also been banned to prevent interference with the stadium’s internet and communication systems.
Cricket organizers urge fans to enjoy the game and comply with the rules.
