Dubai: Pakistan cricket team’s fast bowler, Haris Rauf, has stated that they will treat the Pakistan-India match like any other cricket match.
While speaking to the media in Dubai, Haris Rauf said that there is no pressure regarding the match against India, and all players are relaxed.
He mentioned that he is fully fit and bowled 10 complete overs in the match against New Zealand. Haris Rauf added that Pakistan has already defeated India twice at the Dubai Cricket Stadium and will aim to do so again, adapting their play according to Dubai’s conditions.
Haris Rauf emphasized that the match against New Zealand is in the past, and their full focus is now on the game against India. All players will give their best efforts to perform at 100%.
The fast bowler acknowledged that injuries can happen at any time, even while walking, and some things are beyond human control, so they shouldn’t be overthought.
Haris Rauf also mentioned that the absence of Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub has affected the team’s combination. However, there are other good players who will step up and perform well.
It is worth noting that the Pakistan cricket team has arrived in Dubai for their second match of the Champions Trophy, where they are set to face India on Sunday. This will be the second match for both teams in the tournament. Pakistan lost their first match to New Zealand, while India won their opening game against Bangladesh.
