Dubai – Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has become the second-fastest batter to score 11,000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs).
During India’s ICC Champions Trophy match against Bangladesh in Dubai, Rohit reached the milestone in just 261 innings, etching his name in history.
Before him, Virat Kohli was the fastest to achieve this feat, reaching 11,000 ODI runs in just 222 innings.
With this achievement, Rohit Sharma has surpassed Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar, who took 276 innings to reach the same milestone. Rohit is now the 10th player in the world and the 4th Indian to score 11,000 ODI runs.
Other Indian players who have crossed this landmark include Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, and Sourav Ganguly.
