Karachi: Upon reaching the dressing room, Fakhar Zaman couldn’t hold back his emotions and broke down in tears, grieving over Pakistan’s loss in the opening match of the Champions Trophy and his own injury.
A video has surfaced showing Fakhar Zaman walking towards the pavilion and taking heavy steps after getting out. “Unfortunately, I am out of the Champions Trophy, but there is no doubt that Allah is the best planner,” Fakhar stated. He added that his best wishes are with the team.
Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has included Imam-ul-Haq in Pakistan’s squad as Fakhar Zaman’s replacement for the Champions Trophy.
