Karachi: Fast bowler Haris Rauf has started bowling in the nets. During his training session, doctors continued to monitor his fitness. Haris Rauf began his bowling practice after showing improvement in his injury.
“I am satisfied with my fitness, the management will decide regarding the Champions Trophy,” says Haris Rauf.
Haris Rauf stated that he is satisfied with his fitness and that the management will decide about his participation in the Champions Trophy. He expressed that his goal is to help Pakistan win the title. Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, he mentioned, “I practiced for two days, I feel better than before, I am satisfied with my fitness, and whatever the management decides, I am ready.” He also stated that he learned a lot from Virat Kohli.
He added, “I am trying to help Pakistan win the title so that the fans are happy. I aim to help Pakistan win the mega event. We have been playing finals and semi-finals for several years now, and when I retire, I want to be remembered for having won the trophy.”
It is worth noting that Haris Rauf got injured during the first match of the three-nation tournament. He was unable to play against South Africa and the final match against New Zealand due to the injury.
