Karachi – Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has expressed hope that the Pakistan team will perform well in the Champions Trophy.
Speaking about the tournament, Amir emphasized that hosting such a major event in Pakistan is a proud moment.
He further stated that No. 3 was the ideal batting position for Babar Azam, as he shouldn’t have opened the innings. According to Amir, Babar has the ability to score runs efficiently and is a world-class player.
Amir also commented on the team’s inconsistent performances, saying, “Pakistan’s performance fluctuates, but there is no need for people to be disappointed.”
