Karachi: Players of the teams participating in the Champions Trophy will be flown to Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad via special flights by Pakistan’s national airline, PIA. According to details, PIA will provide travel facilities for the international teams participating in the Cricket Champions Trophy being held in Pakistan. With the collaboration of the Pakistan Cricket Board, PIA has made special arrangements for the teams’ domestic travel. PIA will operate special charter flights for the domestic travel of the cricket teams for the Champions Trophy.
During the flights, special measures are being taken to introduce the guest teams to Pakistani culture. Nine special charter flights will be operated between Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. It is noteworthy that the first match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played on February 19 at Karachi’s National Stadium, where the host team and defending champions, Pakistan, will face New Zealand.
